  • Completed November’s 100 daily push up challenge for Cancer Research, raising over £200 in the process and now able to complete 50 in one rep
  • Enjoyed BBC’s Children In Need special matinee of Disney’s Frozen musical in London
  • Educational trip to London’s Imperial War Museum for a family birthday
  • Visited sixth form options for The Boy’s media studies including Leamington Spa college
  • Failed to sell the Smart car to Webuyanycar with them asking us for £50 (to settle the finance agreement)
  • Gave blood for the first time in over 3 years, apparently my O Neg is in high demand, but for fifth time overall
  • Struggled through a long Winter flu, wiping me out of work for 2 days and pushup challenge for 3

Work

  • Authentic Listening training with people around the company, finding an accountability partner in Fleur
  • Kicked off EM Development initiative, to identify and provide structure for EM’s career growth
  • Started the Coaching Professional Level 5 apprenticeship with a cohort of fellow EM’s
  • Lightning Talks from Lewis on growing an Instagram following and myself on why Mastodon
  • Contributed my first .NET PR towards the new Engineering Competency Framework project
  • Helped Simon and Manni introduce PETALS to their engineering teams as the framework gains further interest
  • Spoke to Dionne at TfL about mentoring more diversity into tech
  • Spoke to Sophie at What3Words through the Supermanagers Slack coffee roulette
